Atlas Seven is a musical bridge building project between various artists having a wide range, yet potentially complementary, influences. The foundation is built on finding a common ground through a maze of different musical thoughts and structures (from well-known to long forgotten titles) which nevertheless could coexist coherently on the same physical object (cassette). In order to do this, it is sometimes necessary to yet yourself be guided by an underlining thread, implied yet never revealed, which makes the true magic of this venue so special.
This compilation album is a musical photograph of 7 individual artists or groups that have shared the same meeting place and creative space, Le Kalif (Rouen // France). Produced by Nicolas Labatut - Sauvegarde du Patrimoine Acoustique.
